Next, we'll connect through email to schedule your coaching session(s). Each focused, one-on-one session will take place on video call (Zoom) or by phone.

What to expect from a coaching session:

While every coaching session is unique, what is common is that we'll spend our time together focused on what you most hope to learn or achieve. Sessions start by outlining goals and a strategy so that you get the most out of your session(s).

Coaching with me is a collaborative and generative process with lots of exchange, professional and personal insights from over 25 years of coaching and teaching, and likely a bit of laughter as well. You’ll come away with insights, new ideas and wisdom to move ahead with your process or project.

I believe that we are all creative beings and that creativity is an innate part of our human makeup.

As a lifelong artist I have experienced firsthand the joys and lessons that come from cultivating a regular creative practice. It is my belief that our creative practice is essential for the health of our body/mind/spirit and inextricably linked to our well-being. And it's essential that our practice be not only be aligned with who we are today, but that it is flexible and evolving ... growing and changing with us as we become more conscious of the connectivity, support and alignment our practice offers.

In my 30 years as a professional artist specializing in architectural mosaics, mosaic mural making and public art, I have become laser focused on best technical practices. I have offered technical training, teacher training and taught mosaic workshops around the world.

My personal creative practice is multidisciplinary and encompasses a wide variety of media and techniques. I consider my practice exploratory and experimental and believe my philosophy, experience and approach lend themselves to helping people foster their own creative journey in any media.

Coaching through a Community Project

Laurel True has helped me, and the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation, in every step of the way towards making a community mosaic mural that will be installed in a local park. She has been indispensable in every aspect of the project, from what tools and materials to purchase, to how to handle mosaic making community workshops with attendants of different abilities. For instance, she told me that to make every participant feel successful I should offer a variety of templates, from simple water drops to complex birds or mammals. I got her coaching package a year ago and can say that it has been the best money spent in all of this project. Laurel True has had so much experience with mosaics through decades of work that there was no question she could not help me with!

Thank you Laurel!
